HiKOKI ‘Spend & Redeem’ National Promotional Terms & Conditions (Q2 Promotional Period starting 1 May and ending 31 July 2024). Bonus offers apply for all qualifying HiKOKI Cordless Power Tool purchases of $699 or more (incl GST) made between 1st May – 31st July 2024 and redeemed by 15th August 2024.
1. Any promotional claim is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. A claim cannot be made in conjunction with any other current HiKOKI ‘Bonus/Redemption’ Promotional Offers, this includes any free bonuses with purchase offers, or free bundle offer. Information on how to enter the promotion and the supply of Redeemable Products forms part of these Terms and Conditions (Terms). Claimants acknowledge and agree that these Terms are the only terms that apply to this Promotion and that making a Claim is proof of the Claimant’s acceptance of these Terms. Claims not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.

3. The offer is only open to New Zealand residents aged 16 years or over who purchased from an Authorised New Zealand HiKOKI Power Tool Reseller. Reseller employees are not eligible to make a claim. Purchases of second-hand tools, parallel imported tools, or tools for use in a ‘For Hire Environment’ do not qualify.

4. The promotion commences 12:01am (NZST) 1st May 2024 and ends 11:59pm (NZST) 31 July 2024. The final date for receipt of the Redemption Claim Form and Proof of Purchase is 15st August 2024 or the time when the stock of Redeemable Products is exhausted (Promotion Period)

5. Exclusions and non-qualifying products : HiKOKI Custom Kits or Custom Kit Special Orders do not qualify for this bonus promotional offer. In addition, individually purchased chargers, batteries, accessories, storage systems, battery and charger starter kits, spare parts, replacement parts, Hitachi branded Power Tools and HiKOKI AC (Corded) Power Tools do not qualify for this bonus promotional offer.

6. To make a claim, claimants must spend a minimum of $699 (incl GST.) or more on any HiKOKI Cordless Power Tool(s) from any Authorised NZ HiKOKI Reseller during the promotional period stipulated in clause (4) of these T’s & C’s.
A). Complete all sections of the online redemption form via www.hikoki.co.nz/redemption-form/ and provide all the necessary details, including your email address and a valid physical delivery address. (Excluding PO Boxes)
B). Provide an electronic copy of the tax invoice/ receipt (Proof of purchase) is essential to validate a claim and you must ‘upload’ or ‘email’ a COPY of your transaction receipt/invoice when submitting for this claim. (Goods must be transacted on one receipt and clearly record the price paid for the tool(s) to be eligible. The receipt must show the date of purchase, and the model number or retail SKU of each qualifying tool(s) per invoice. You cannot submit multiple invoices to meet the value of the spend threshold. Trade Quotes, Commercial Quotes and Insurance Quotes do not qualify for this promotional offer.
C). Upload and attach a photo of the packaging barcode is required to validate the claim.

7. By claiming a redemption offer, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read and understood ALL terms & conditions, and that they have purchased the correct qualifying items and met the minimum spend threshold of $699+ (incl GST) from a Authorised New Zealand HiKOKI Reseller between the required promotional period outlined in section (4) of these terms & conditions.

8. HiKOKI Spend & Redeem Redemption Offer(s) for purchases made between 01/05/2024 – 31/07/2024 and redeemed by 11:59pm on 15^st August 2024.

*There are limited Redeemable Products available. A Claimant will not be eligible for a Redeemable Product if stock for the relevant Redeemable Product has been exhausted. Refer to clause (15) of these Terms & Conditions.

14. HiKOKI New Zealand accepts no responsibility for claims not properly completed or received. Claims that are illegible, incomplete, or received after the closing date are declared void.

15. HiKOKI New Zealand reserves the right to substitute the bonus item for a gift of equivalent value, at its discretion in the event of happenings beyond its control. The free bonus item is not exchangeable nor transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter isn’t responsible for value changes in Redeemable Products. They may substitute with a different item of equal or greater value at their discretion. Such decisions are final, with no further correspondence. Redeemable Products must be accepted as is; no compensation if unusable. They can’t be exchanged, transferred, or cashed. The Promoter doesn’t guarantee product quality except for stated warranties.

16. Must provide a physical NZ delivery address, no PO. Boxes. Claimants acknowledge and agree that all costs for redelivery due to failure of Claimant to provide accurate postal details and/or failing to sign/collect Redeemable Products associated with the redelivery of a Redeemable Product must be borne by the Claimant and will be debited from the Claimant’s credit/debit card by the Promoter.

17. HiKOKI NZ reserves the right to request further information regarding proof of purchase from the redeemer if circumstances warrant.

18. If the Promoter becomes aware or determines, in its sole discretion, that a Claimant:
(i) has engaged in conduct that breaches these Terms or that is otherwise fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging or prejudicial to the goodwill and/or reputation of the Promotion and/or the Promoter; or
(ii) has tampered with or otherwise manipulated a Claim or invoice after; or
(iii) has returned products to a retailer due to change of mind; or
(iv) is in fact an Excluded Person

19. The Promoter holds the right to disqualify the Claimant from current and future claims under the Promotion without prior notice if any events listed in clause 12(i)-(iv) arise. In cases where such events occur after a Redeemable Product(s) has been delivered to a Claimant, the Promoter may demand the return of such products at the Claimant’s
expense. Additionally, within legal bounds, the Promoter may exercise its rights to recover
any damages or losses incurred due to or in connection with a Claim.

20. If for any reason this Promotion does not run as planned, including due to any cause beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may in its sole discretion and without notice to a Claimant, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate a Claim.

21. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Promoter isn’t liable for any claims, liabilities, losses, expenses, or damages, whether contractual, tort-based, or otherwise. This covers those arising from the Promotion, Claims, delivery of Redeemable Products, changes to the Promotion or products, or Redeemable Product quality.

22. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information in order to administer the promotion, the product warranty, for its own marketing purposes, and for market analysis. The Promoter may for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service partners, and providers, offer suppliers. Participation in the program/promotion is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, and research, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant.
